| The EnigmaX was
developed as a "3D trainer". A model which is fast and simple to
build, so as to allow training those new maneuvers down lown
without the fear of crashing. Being it a foamie shock flyer
class model built with 3mm Depron, it is both light and durable.
The Depron also is very friendly for repairs, usually just some
clear masking tape is enough, and you can be back in the air
quickly after that "inevitable" dork. All in all, a very fun
model! The huge control
surfaces, as in any shock flyer, will allow plenty of 3D
capability. Also, the use of CF tubes in the wing LE and TE will
add a huge amount of stiffness. And for preventing the tail
twisting, you can use a threading process described
here.
Currently we make this model
available only through a set of free downloadable plans in PDF
format, already tiled to A4 sized sheets to make domestic
printing a breeze. A construction manual, also in PDF format
will follow soon. |
